Weather can change vastly from place to place depending on macro and micro topography of a location. Accurate local weather information is extremely important and useful to improve productivity, be it related to agriculture such as for the operation of tea, sugar and other commercial crop production or for industries such as micro and mini hydropower operation.
The weather data service of Enviforecasting will set up local weather stations that monitor a range of environmental parameters including rainfall, temperature, wind, humidity, radiation etc., measured and transmitted approximately every 20 seconds. These data are received at Enviforecasting IoT server hosted in Google Cloud Platform, processed and archived for each user. The weather service package of Enviforecasting include the following:
- Site visit to select a location for proper observation of environmental variables
- Delivery and setting up of the local weather station at the selected site
- Setting up of data transmission, configuring application view and retrieve data
- Summary reports of key variables prepared at user defined frequency
- Maintenance of stations
- Specific research such as influence of weather on agricultural or industrial product, near future forecasts are available as separate products

WIF Weather Station
TThThis weather station requires a router connected to internet. Data is transmitted to an indoor receiver that need to be connect to a route connected to internet as shown.

GSM Weather Station
